LATEST NEWS - Celebrating youth leadership in the community

Our event celebrating youth leadership at the Wholesome Market in Toronto on Sunday November 13, 2011 was a great success!

Shoppers enjoyed delicious snacks courtesy of Hanif Jamal, owner of the Market, while they learned more about Community Builders' work in schools in Ontario. 10% of the day's sales were donated to Community Builders. Read more about the event here.

Welcome to Community Builders!
Stepping in to help someone who is being bullied, excluded or targeted by oppression isn't easy for anyone - children or adults. Through our unique "Train the Trainer" programs, Community Builders gives young people, teachers, administrators and parents the capacity and confidence to effectively stand up for others.

Community Builders is a not-for-profit organization established in 1994 to help foster inclusive and equitable school communities. Our programs give participants concrete skills to create a school culture where caring is cool and everyone counts and everyone belongs.

At Community Builders, we believe that young people have the initiative and power to lead the way to change.
